Protected sale
For sellers whose buyer wants their money protected
8% of the sale, only when it sells
- The buyer pays through Station2
- We hold the money until the buyer checks the gear, then pay you
- If the gear doesn't match its listing, the buyer is refunded and you pay no fee
- Example: a $45 sale costs you $3.60, and you receive $41.40

Questions about pricing
Who pays the 8%?
The seller, and only when a protected sale goes through. Buyers never pay a fee.
When is Pro worth it?
When you sell often. On $200 of protected sales a month, you'd pay $16 in fees on Free, or $10 plus $5 for Pro.
Can I still sell in person for free?
Yes, always. Meeting on campus and paying in cash or Venmo stays free on every plan.
